Frequently Asked Questions:
Is it normal for children to cry at the beginning ?
Crying is a very natural and healthy response to the love they have experienced at home. We make sure that all transitions are tailored to their character and progress.
What is the curriculum at Tooties Daycare ?
Our curriculum allows children to explore and learn in an environment that is secure and safe, yet challenging. Play opportunities are non-stereotypical and available to all children promoting the teaching and learning from a skilled workforce.
What are your health and safety procedures ?
There is always a small chance that an incident might occur, but we try to minimize the risk as much as we can. If a child shows certain symptoms we will send them home, as part of our “exclusion for illness” policy. We stick to strict sanitary schedules and a safe-hire procedure for all our colleagues in the preschools.
Will Tooties Daycare Support Potty Training ?
Yes! Potty training will be included as part of everyday learning.
Q: What age groups does Tooties Daycare accommodate, and what is your approach to early childhood development?
A: Tooties Daycare provides care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, offering tailored programs that support each developmental stage. Our approach focuses on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow through age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
